Setting up Reputation Management

In order to setup Reputation Management, you will want to update your software to the latest version of the software. To update your software, click here.
You will also need to be using Remote Access in order to use reputation management. If you have not already setup Remote Access, click here for instructions on adding the service to your account.

  1. Go to your DaySmart Portal and sign in.

  2. Select More -> Reviews.

  3. Fill in your business's information.

  4. To add a logo to reviews sent to your clients, select Browse towards the bottom of the page. You will then need to navigate to where you have your business's logo saved on your computer.

  5. Press Next

You will now be able to link the reputation management service to your business's Facebook page, Google and Yelp.

Integrating with Facebook

  1. Click on Link to Facebook.

  2. Sign into Facebook with an account that is an administrator for your business's Facebook page.

  3. Press Continue.

  4. If you have multiple Facebook pages, check the page you wish to pull reviews from.

  5. Press Next.

  6. Press Done and then Ok.

  7. Go back to your DaySmart Portal and then More -> Reviews.

  8. Verify that your business's Facebook page is select in the Integrations section. Click Link

Integrating with Google

  1. Click here to begin setting up integration with Google.

  2. Scroll down to the map.

  3. In the enter location field, entered your business name and select your business from the list.

  4. Copy the Place ID that is listed below your business's name.

  5. Paste the place ID into the Place ID field.

Integrating with Yelp

  1. Go to Google.com and search [Business Name] yelp reviews.

  2. Select the yelp review page for your business.

  3. Copy the URL and paste it into the Yelp URL field.

Once you have finished integrating with Facebook, Google and Yelp press Next to begin editing the email that customers will receive to leave a review.

Review Settings

In the Default Email template field you can edit the message that customers will receive which will prompt them to leave a review. You do not need to add a header or footer to the email as this will be added automatically.

Once you have adjusted the email, you can select if the review type customers will be able to leave is a rating out of 5 stars or a Thumps up or Thumbs down. Simply select which option you wish to use.

Finally you can set if you want to promote leaving a social media review to your customers. If you enable this option, your customers will receive a message prompting them to leave a review on Facebook, Google or Yelp if they left you a review of 4 or higher. If they rated their visit a 3 or less, they will not be prompted to leave a social media review.

Press Finish to end the setup of Reputation Management for your business.


How to send customers a review

In order for your clients to receive a message prompting for a review, they will need to have appointment notifications enabled within their profile for either email or text messages.

  1. Go to Your Daysmart Portal

  2. Select Clients

  3. Double click on the client you wish to enable appointment reminders and reviews for.

  4. Under Client Information, check the box for either Email Address or Text Message.

  5. Press Save.

Now that your client has appointment notifications enabled, whenever you close a ticket for them, they will receive a message prompting for a review. They will simply need to click on the link in the email or text message at which point they will be able to rate their visit and leave a message if they desire.

Note: Customers will only receive one message per day to leave a review and only if they purchased a service.


Embedding Reviews on your Website

With Reputation Management, you can add customer reviews to your website or even provide them the option to leave a review from your website.

  1. Go to your DaySmart Portal and sign in.

  2. Select More -> Reviews

  3. Select Review Form at the top of the page.

  4. Click on either Copy link without replies or Copy link with replies.

You will want to provide the copied link to your website designer who will want to add this to your website by using an iFrame. If you wish to let your customers leave reviews from your website itself, you will follow this same process and select Copy review form and provide this link to your web designer.


Managing Reviews

To view and manage reviews that your customers leave on Facebook, Google, Yelp or through the email and text messages they receive after an appointment, go to More -> Reviews from your DaySmart Portal. From here you will be able to view all reviews from any linked social media accounts. You can also click on the individual reviews to reply and, if you have customer reviews embedded into your website, select whether to display the review or hide it on your website.


Reputation Management Reporting

  1. To view reports on your reviews, go to your DaySmart Portal and sign in.

  2. Go to More -> Reviews.

  3. Select Reports in the top right of the page.

From the Standard Reports​ screen, you will see a breakdown of your customer reviews over the past 12 months. You can view the number of reviews each month along with their rating, a breakdown of reports that came through Facebook, Yelp, Google and Salon Iris and you can view the number of reviews with 3 stars or less.

If you wish to change the date range for the reports, simply select Custom Reports along the left side. You will then be able to select your date range and press Submit.
